GoZark Resort Honors Shootout Hall of Famer Tim Kowalski

Osage Beach resort recognizes the veteran racer's 19-year Shootout legacy, 2020 Hall of Fame induction and Make-A-Wish boat rides.
Kowalski and his team stayed at GoZark Resort during the 2026 Shootout. During the visit, he invited members of the resort team aboard his boat, giving them a firsthand look at the enthusiasm and camaraderie surrounding one of the Lake of the Ozarks' signature boating events.
According to GoZark Resort, Kowalski has participated in the Shootout for 19 years and has spent more than three decades in boat racing. He was inducted into the Bob Morgan Memorial Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Hall of Fame in 2020, when the event recognized him as a Bio-Kleen representative and competitor.
Established in 2013, the Hall of Fame honors people who have made significant contributions to the Shootout. Contemporary coverage of Kowalski's induction described him as a longtime sponsor and supporter who participated in the Shootout, poker runs, the event's street party and boat rides for Make-A-Wish families.
While Kowalski's racing career has made him a familiar figure in the performance-boating community, GoZark Resort is also recognizing what he does away from competition. For years, he has donated his time and the use of his boat to provide special rides for Make-A-Wish children and their families, helping create positive experiences and lasting memories on the water.
