Lash Prodigy Founder Amy Williams Named Brows & Lashes Champion at 2026 Women's Awards
Amy Williams, founder of Lash Prodigy, named Brows & Lashes Champion at the 2026 Australian Women's Small Business Champion Awards, held at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on 26 September.
Brisbane lash and brow educator takes the national Brows & Lashes category in Sydney, her second industry award in eight days.
The award was presented at a national presentation evening at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on Saturday 26 September, where category champions were announced across more than 60 industries. It is the second national award Williams has received in eight days, following her Brow Educator of the Year win at the International Lash Masters awards in Melbourne on 19 September.
The Australian Women's Small Business Champion Awards are run by Precedent Productions and are now in their fifth year. Entry is open to Australian small businesses at least half owned by a woman, and judges shortlist finalists from written submissions before selecting one champion per category. The organiser states plainly that not all entrants become finalists.
"We don't do average," Williams said. "We'd rather you be exceptional than rushed."
Lash Prodigy teaches lash and brow technique as separate disciplines and as a combined skill set, covering lash isolation and mapping, brow shaping and symmetry, and the hygiene and safety standards required to work on paying clients. Students range from beginners entering the industry to established lash artists adding brows to their service menu, and salon owners upskilling existing staff.
Williams says the combined approach reflects how clients actually book. Lash and brow services are frequently booked together in a single appointment, so artists qualified in both can offer more services per visit.
The company reports more than 28,000 course enrolments across Australia and internationally. Its courses are accredited and certified with NALA and Lash Inc. The business operates from Nundah, in Brisbane's inner north, where the premises serve as both a teaching studio and a working salon, and it also runs a professional product range and sister brand LashXtend.
Lash Prodigy had been named a finalist in the awards earlier in 2026 before taking the category.
